Essence of CHRISTMAS

Yuletide Season is LOVE
#GiveloveonChristmasDay

As a catholic, we tend to celebrate Christmas every year particularly in the month of December. We believe that Christmas is the birth month of our one and only savior, Jesus Christ. Tradition plays a huge role in the way we celebrate it each year.

They say "Give LOVE on Christmas Day", upon listening to this kind of phrase we can truly say that love is the real meaning and true essence of Christmas. The fact that we tend to share and give is already a form of loving one's self.

Have you ever receive a present from someone? Isn't it cool and exciting? Well, that defines happiness for sure. Giving the joy and satisfaction to your love one is indeed marked by pleasure through the connection of love between the both of you. Realizing that you are special.

The deeper sense of Christmas is that it is also the time for forgiving and letting go of the past wherein we aim to flourish a good life rather than simply living it with hatred among others. Share you love! Find life meaningful enough to live! Move on!

Climate Change #Nature'sBest

CHANGE ON NATURE'S BEST

Is it for the worst? People tend to experience some various changes in regards with our Mother Nature. Prevailing the set of conditions.I mean, what happened on Nature's Best? Change is the only permanent thing in the world isn't it? Nowadays climate change is the biggest problem of the entire human being. It is already happening and represents one of the greatest environmental, social and economic threats facing the planet.
All of us can play a vital part of the climate change solution. Now that we also know, there are so many factories that exhale really destructive substances and pollute the air. Air is something we can't live without.
There are many factors lead to climate change. Some examples are greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, fossil fuels. The fact is that human activities caused negative effects on climate change. It would be self-deception to believe that humans had nothing to do with it. Man is really capable of influencing global climate deliberately or inadvertently through his various actions and activities.

I BELIEVE HARMONY BETWEEN NATURE AND HUMAN BEINGS WILL RETURN.

English Month and National Book Week Celebration

GLOBALLY!
#tobemoreproficientenough!

We Filipino's consider English as one of the major subjects wherein we exert more time in focusing about it. See how important it is? In fact, globally, all people should know how to speak this language. We need it! As we're ;earning in out daily lives.
If there is one language that could have a chance of being considered universal, it would be English. In fact it is! One universal language for a whole nation is an essential for good communication.
English is not our Native Language. Grade school days we are already enhancing and familiarizing ourselves with the English subject, considering it one of the major subjects. In commemorating with English for a couple of years now, major, because it has a greater importance among other subjects. Why? To excel in the other major and minor subjects first's you need to know English.
Although learning English can be challenging and time consuming, we can see that it is also very valuable to learn and can create many opportunities.

Equal Rights Equal Opportunities

The Possibilities Are Endless!
Against Discrimination
#Equality! We are all the same!

It's not just about the intellectual ability. The word there is "unfair".
In the past centuries, elderly people tend to tell us that there is no equality specifically gender equality wherein in the ancient times, people have higher respect for men than women. They tend to believe that men have higher perspective that women. But why? Gender equality is a human right!
Discrimination is negativity. Women have also rights and entitled to live with dignity and freedom. The fact that they call ladies a "weak gender" just because in some points they can't do what men can do? The inequality of opportunities has been involve!

Nobody is perfect. No one not even the most intelligent person in the world have experience portraying perfection. I agree that almost all philosophers, scientist, astronauts, inventors are all men. But that doesn't mean that women cannot do they're intellectual prospect as high as that. Remember that centuries had already gone by. We are now living in a world that totally portrays equality both rights and opportunities. Women themselves can create they're own names in terms of anything, take the example of being able to join in a prestigious pageants, for being a president to their country and many many more.
Shout out to the universe that EVERYBODY HAS A RIGHT TO LIVE! The possibilities are endless!

Second quarter is about to end. Gaining something more interesting. I say it's "Paradox". wherein you believed you couldn't make it but unfortunately you did! I can't express how happy I am to be informed that our Investigatory Project was qualified garnering 1st place in the Division level. Simply, I can't even imagine it the first time, but it was really true.
Pinning of ranks, I will never forget you. For it was me who was the first one to throw my headgear even though the command was the yet executed. Am I dreaming? LOL It was cool! At least it was cute.
Admitting the honest mistake that I am included in the Top Achievers last grading period. It was indeed okay. I'm happy about it. I deserved to be one of them. I waited for my card to appear and yet it was proven.
Another topic of ICT which is HTML tags which really tests your patience and it was wonderful! Gaining knowledge is an opportunity! and of course THANK YOU to my parents who allowed me to go to seminars such as International Leadership Training which will be conducted tomorrow morning. May God bless us for our safeness.

Intramurals 2014

SPORTS! Written on the walls!

SENIOR YEAR!

Did you know that the word "intramural" literally means "written on the walls"? This will be our last in trams as we bid goodbye this school year. Go Seniors! With the theme: Sustaining Excellence and teamwork through sports, dances and arts. Participate!
For me, I didn't really feel the true and real essence of intramural's this year because of super typhoon Mario that cause all the devastation of our locality. It was indeed scary!
According to them, they said that Ilocos Sur is a;ready signal no. 4 and only declared it when the typhoon already hit our locality. They were so many damages yet it was the strongest typhoon.
By the time classes are resumed, they also managed to resume and regain back Intramural's @ school.

STAY ACTIVE AND PARTICIPATE SPORTS!

my TEACHER, my HERO

Always be and Always will!

Education is the most important heritage we could get from our parents. No one could snatch it away from us . It is all our own. And we owe it to our teachers.
Our success in life depends on how our teachers in collaboration with our parents inflict on us. Aside from our old folks, teachers are next responsible in molding our future. In school, my teacher is my model. I appreciate the strictness of teachers if it's reasonable enough. Through their strictness and stern ways of imposing their superiority on us just to be sure we will become good citizens. Teachers have a great role on molding and honing us to be better persons. You impart with us your skills and knowledge. It is in this stage of life where reality is placed and errors spell disasters or success. Your patience with out shortcomings encourage us to be future leaders. That you have faith, determination and perseverance to ensure quality of education for it is through education that could face the world and our future with certainty.
And these I owe you, my Teachers!
They say you are nobody but I look up to you with high respect! They also say you are a weakling but for me you are strong that you can even rebirth the nation! An ordinary person, they say, but I praise and adore you because I know that you deserve more! Always be and always will: MY TEACHER, MY HERO!

MODERN DAY HEROES

FAMILY: Ultimate Source of Everything

“And then a hero comes along
With the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive
So when you feel like hope is gone
Look inside you and be strong
And you’ll finally see the truth
That a hero lies in you.”
            - HERO, by Mariah Carey

Everybody can be a hero in so many ways. Someone who continues to fight for a cause in spite of fatigue and pain, someone who inspires us in order to move on with our lives through hardships and miseries .
There's this holiday that we celebrate every year wherein we call it National Heroes Day in honor to the brave, plucky, lionhearted and indomitable heroes who fought for us retrieving back the freedom of our beloved country.
These so-called Modern Day Heroes are those who in their own little ways contributed good deeds beneficial to others and to the nation. Among these modern day heroes are the migrant workers of OFWs through economy. Being away from their families is already a torture for them, what more if they are unjustly or brutally treated by their employers which mostly happen to domestic helpers. Their sacrifices just to earn money made them heroes in the eyes of their families even in their country as well.
Heroism is not only those who have global effect but acts of heroism is also defined as people who in their own simple way quietly extend help when they are needed. Those quiet but dedicated workers who are about to go in their respective work and being always ready in terms of helping. These includes parents, teachers, garbage collectors, mechanics, farmers, caregivers, carpenters, janitors, farmers, drivers and many more. The stories of these unsung heroes are not often read in newspapers or shown on television.
I consider my family as my ultimate source of everything, my Modern Day Hero at all times because of zillion reasons.Enumerating few reasons: they were the ones who helped me in terms of trouble or something negative that happened, taking care of me since I was born, the ones who supports me in my daily needs everyday, my first teachers, my mentors, my best friends and most importantly for giving me their greatest love as their one and only daughter. The fact that you may not share your private situations to your friends but you may share and open it to your family whenever possible. For without them I'll never had a chance to see the beauty of earth.
"Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." - Mother Theresa

Wika ng Pagkakaisa

WIKANG PANLAHAT

Reflection

First quarter of the school year is said to be the stage of getting to know one another again and getting acquainted with the ladder we are on. This is our last step of secondary education. This first quarter, I’ve learned to be more patient in dealing with school work and activities, such as blogging. Blogging is a one of a kind activity that not all students would know about it. Blogging is an awesome experience yet enjoyable itself. Experiencing this kind of activity/lesson is a great pleasure. I’m thankful enough and lucky that I got a chance to experience blogging within my high school moments.
School work is really stressful and I should exert more effort in my studies to gain appreciation both my parents and teachers. I may not have the highest honor but at least I’ve got appreciative grades. But high school life though easy as it may seem, there are also hassles and conflicts.
Relaxing, taking it easy and listening to stress relieving melodies are some ways for me to escape painful reality conflicts. Learning more and studying harder makes me feel worthy enough to focused and independently accept any challenges that will come.
Through motivation and open mindedness, I will do my very best in order to keep up!

SONA 2014

5th State of the Nation Address (SONA) of Pnoy

President Benigno Aquino delivered his fifth State of the Nation Address before both houses of Congress. This is his longest yet emotional speech ever. He said that when he assumed office, he will lead the right path or “Tuwid na daan”.
When President Aquino said his inaugural speech four years ago, he said that the Filipino people are his boss but now he is stating that he is like a father finding solution to the country’s problems rest on his shoulder.
In his 5th SONA, he enumerated all the projects accomplished under his administration:
1.      The Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) fund for deserving scholars
2.      The poverty rate becomes lower
3.      Lessened national debt
4.      Encouraged more foreign investments and the country’s more open for business
5.      Flood control solution in Laguna Lakeshore Expressway Dike which will soon open for bidding on late 2014

He also cited the tragedies that resulted from calamities that struck the country. Amidst the slowly progressing country, arise the insurgency in Zamboanga, Bohol earthquake and typhoon Yolanda affecting thousands of people and destruction of properties. He extended recovery plans for all victims but it is not yet quite fully accomplished.
Land reform that started from the previous government in spite of many hazards regarding those lands.
Energy crisis and rice supply were also mentioned in his speech. Energy crisis is inevitable by nice shortage can be remedied like importing from other countries. This way to ward-off hoarders.
DAP issue was his finale blow. He said that in dispensing the said fund, people have divided opinions that this DAP is really served to the people in need, or pocketed by some other authorities.

This speech of President Aquino is maybe the longest but it is only a rigor of statements. All his supposedly accomplishments seem to be coy to uplift his declining performance rate. As of now, people are still longing for President Aquino’s promise to give the righteous path and good governance because up to this date, crime rate and rampant graft and corruption still exist.

"Kalamidad Paghandaan: Gutom at Malnutrition Agapan"

Letter To The President Of The Philippines

June 29, 2014

H.E. President Benigno "Noynoy" S. Aquino III
Malacanang Palace
Manila, Philippines

Sir:

Greetings Sir! Four years of serving our country is indeed a great pleasure to every Filipinos around the country itself. Your will and at the same time your honor in serving the country has been successful through out every year that passed and more years to count. You start a very challenging 4 years and may you continue a much more challenging and fortunate years to come.

For the years of your administration serving our country, it was fulfilling because aside from your tremendous speeches you've delivered you also enforce actions towards every word you said. It was highly appreciated! Let's tell that there's still many people complaining about your governance. People tend to believe in the saying that goes: "ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS". Even though you have an extraordinary speech if you will not apply action to every word you said, there's a big possibility that people will never believe you as they believe in you before.People are wise enough to judge you if they don't like how you work in your position. That's the picture of those people who wants to see more of your governance. In the other case, some people strongly believes in you. Let's say they're against on the other side around. They're truly the people who never tend to get tired of waiting every change you make in our country, wanting you to stay longer. But that's life of a Politician besides for all that unexpected manifestation, still you stand tall and do what you need to do as President of this country. Considering you as one of the most promising President in this country.

We don't expect you to be prefect, like Jesus Christ. The blood of greatness still runs strong in every Filipino veins; it just needs the right leadership and inspiration to unlock the dormant giant in all of us to propel our country to greatness once again! As the President, you cannot do all the work to reach you goals. Just provide the inspiration, the moral leadership and we people will follow.

Now, it's your destiny to a God-given opportunity to continue where your mother failed to finished. Your persona and your simple living and you common-sense-pronouncements have inspired the Filipino people to dream again and converted an indifferent and apolitical citizenry to get involved for their own deliverance from poverty and sociopolitical malaise. Your simplicity resonates well among our people and the millions of ordinary Filipinos --- not exclusively the elite who were a part of the societal problem that emasculated the country's growth --- will be your active partners for the positive changes that you so desire.

God Bless you and our beloved Philippines. May the Lord continue to grant you the necessary wisdom and fortitude in every decision you make.

Lead the way, President Noynoy Aquino! We are with you. God is with all of us! Hindi ka nag-iisa!

Sincerely yours,
